This pair of appliqués are utterly charming. Absolutely from the 1920's featuring a linear interpretation of a classic flapper girl face, resplendent with her shingle haircut. The face appears to be created with a print on satin, with a black ribbon at a jaunty angle to look like a cloche hat, mounted on a domed shape that is centred on a peachy ribbon bow.
They are made delicate textiles and have lived a rather a fun life by the looks of the frays and a few marks which are shown in the close ups.
