A unique, handmade Double Wedding Ring antique patchwork quilt. This antique find is an absolute beauty. It appears to be fully handsewn, is in incredibly good condition, without a mark or a tear that we can see. The Double Wedding Ring is a complex, impressive design that would require great quilting skill to achieve, let alone exceptional patience.
This Double Wedding Ring antique patchwork quilt features sweet mini floral patterns mostly in pastel shades, with a white background and an amazing scalloped edge design in pink and blue. The back side is simple, fresh white which shows the intricate quilting stitched beautifully.
We shot this enormous quilt on a kingsize bed and you can see that it drapes beautifully over the edges. Delivered with its own drawstring bag made of undyed, antique cotton.
Size: approx 240cm x 235cm.
