These stud hoop earrings in silver with lapis from ISHKAR add graphic, modern elegance to any look. Expertly crafted with 925 Sterling Silver and lapis lazuli stones, the design allows for versatile styling - with the stud and hoop in front, the stud alone, or the hoop behind the earlobe.

The blue lapis lazuli stone used in the stud hoop earrings in silver with lapis, comes from Sar-e Sang in North Eastern Afghanistan. This iconic stone was once so exclusive it was reserved for the funeral masks of Pharaohs and for the brush tips of the Renaissance’s most renowned artists.

This piece is produced by master artisans in Afghanistan. Since the Taliban took over in August 2021, we have removed all identifying references of ISHKAR's partners for security reasons. Some of their partners were able to leave Afghanistan. For those who remain, their craft is critical to sustain their livelihoods at a time when the country is in financial collapse and in the grip of a humanitarian disaster, making every purchase of an Afghan-made piece more important now than ever before.
On top of the amount ISHKAR pay the artisans, a further 10% of the value of this product goes towards the Turquoise Mountain Foundation. Turquoise Mountain supports Afghan artisans by providing them with three years of technical training, as well as a full range of business support following graduation.
