Proudly presenting our very first P&B quilt. Meet the Rose Garden quilt, named for the mostly floral prints and embroideries used to create the pink and green focussed patchwork design. If you’re wondering why those Forget Me Not Originals notebooks and journals look so at home, it’s because much of this quilt is made from beautiful vintage and antique textiles left over from their book binding process. There are also sections that are the offcuts from our collaborative collection with Sunday at the Villa, as well as from mask-making. We've carefully been saving everything in readiness for this new collection of patchwork pieces.
We shot this quilt on a kingsize bed and you can see that it drapes beautifully over the edges, and it would look even more luxuriously generous on a double bed.
Made by hand using vintage and antique textiles, including some beautiful embroidered panels. Backed with creamy white antique French linen sheets. Filled with bamboo wadding which was the option that appeared to us to have the best eco attributes, although we do understand that bamboo fibre is not without issues. Hand quilted with 100% cotton thread.
Size: approx 212 x 215cm.

Circularity: this is our first product to be offered with a lifetime repairs guarantee for as long as Plum & Belle is a trading entity. This covers any areas where seams have failed or stitching has come undone. We will also repair any small tears that emerge as you use this delicate item. Should you change your style, you can also return this product for a P&B gift voucher. We will then refurbish this item for resale or reuse all fo the elements to create other goods.
Care Instructions: all of the textiles have been carefully pre-washed, but the wadding has not. When you first launder this, the wadding may shrink slightly creating an even more distinctive and beautiful quilted texture. We recommend spot cleaning where possible but if you do need to wash the whole quilt, then handwash with a delicate detergent and dry flat.
