If you needed to express the 1960s in one look, this would have to be it. From the cropped sleeves to the deep side splits to that psychedelic print, this stunning tabard is fully embracing its era. We're calling it a tabard rather than a dress because of those extreme side splits. They reach up to hip level and so this was probably intended to be worn over trousers.
There is no brand label and the finish makes us think it's probably handmade. The external layer seems to be a delicious silk twill, but the lining is most likely synthetic. There is an ultra deep front zip, which closes at the top with a hook and eye.
There are some very subtle watermarks on the outside of this piece and there are internal signs of repair around the top of the side splits.
We consider this closest to a size 12. Please see our size guide.
NB whilst we have done our utmost to highlight any marks or imperfections, there may be some additional, very minor defects that we have missed.
