This vintage shell pink kimono is deliciously drapey, in a gorgeous crepe de chine style silk fabric. It's patterned on the front left hand side (as worn) with a vertical band of flowers and leaves on a dark plummy red ground, which is mirrored on the opposite side on the back. There are also a couple of areas detailed with a delicate pastel interpretation of flower sprigs on a soft grey ground. This kimono has an extra wide neckband that folds into a centre back neck, where it can be fixed with a press stud fastening. The lining is beautiful plain ivory silk with flashes of blush pink at the hem and the cuffs.
Incredibly beautiful condition throughout except for two very small yellow marks at the neckline, which are hidden inside the folded neck band, shown in our picture gallery, and a very small additional yellow mark on the outer edge of one sleeve.
Silhouette: Shoulder to shoulder: 62cm; Side seam: 91cm
