Size Guides

Say hello to the Quilty Pleasures Butterfly pochette. We have so enjoyed creating the Quilty Pleasures pochette collection; a range of generously proportioned pouches that are perfect for makeup, toiletries or your smalls. These the first of many limited-edition variations on this new P&B signature product which forms part of our ‘Low Waste to Zero Waste’ approach.

Created with great care from antique, vintage and deadstock textiles that are ready for reinvention. This one is made from Osborne and Little's Norcombe Hill fabric. The outer is freehand, machine quilted in a design inspired by the butterfly pattern. We quilt the Quilty Pleasures Butterfly pochette with bamboo and cotton wadding that is left over from making our collection of quilts.

We use the most eco zip option available, made by Riri. The tape is 100% organic cotton and the teeth are brass. These are custom-dyed along with the lining fabric and the piping. The piping is handmade and filled with traditional upholstery cording to create its plump, rounded look. This Quilty Pleasures pochette design has zingy, citrus yellow silk velvet piping for an additional layer of luxe.

The lining is made from vintage damask table linen which adds a subtle pattern underneath the jazzy tie dyed finish. We love the contrast of the vintage, elegant outers and the party vibe, tie dyed inners!

Size: 30cm long x 20cm deep

Materials

One-off or highly limited edition items created from post-project interiors fabrics, antique and vintage textiles that are no longer usable as a whole plus antique and vintage textiles left from Forget Me Not Originals bookbinding process.

Most materials are 100% natural like cotton or linen, however due to their nature we cannot confirm the composition.

Sustianability Excellence

These pieces are created to ensure existing materials are fully honoured and loved rather than set aside as waste.

We start making larger items like the dresses and patchwork quilts. As the textiles offcuts get smaller so do the projects. To use the smaller left-overs we have created items like our facial wipes.

These are all part of our 'Low Waste to Zero Waste' journey.
