Aerende's hand-carved ash spatula is hand-carved from wood growing on the Gloucestershire estate where they are made. This very useful kitchen utensil is both durable and a joy to hold thanks to its curvy shape. We also have chopping boards and rolling pins that sit alongside the hand-carved ash spatula creating a lovely collection.
These come uncoated but can be easily oiled with any natural oil to bring out the grain and provide long-term protection.

Made from British ash wood.
Your hand-carved wood item is best cared for by cleaning it gently with a damp cloth. It should never be left in water or put in the dishwasher. If it starts to dry out, a light sanding and a coat of sunflower oil will prolong its life. Best stored out of direct sunlight.
Please note that due to the organic materials and handmade nature of these items, some natural variation in grain, colour and shape may occur. Images show the variations in size and shape and depict the item as accurately as possible.
