Sold individually, these adjustable rings from ISHKAR are designed to fit all sizes. The simple band is detailed with a single stone, creating a chic, cool look. These rings look wonderful worn alone, but even better when stacked together to create a more dramatic effect. We love the idea of wearing them in mixed metals as well as mixed stones. We have these handcrafted rings in 925 Sterling Silver or 16-carat gold plate, with lapis lazuli or Bamiyan turquoise stones.

The deep blue lapis lazuli stone, which comes from high in the valley of Sar-e Sang in North Eastern Afghanistan. This iconic stone was once so exclusive it was reserved for the funeral masks of Pharaohs and for the brush tips of the Renaissance’s most renowned artists.
The green-toned, Bamiyan Turquoise (scientific name: Chrysocolla) is less well-known but equally striking.
On top of the amount ISHKAR pay the artisans, a further 10% of the value of this product goes towards the Turquoise Mountain Foundation. Turquoise Mountain supports Afghan artisans by providing them with three years of technical training, as well as a full range of business support following graduation. You can read more about the Foundation in our profile piece about Ishkar in our journal.
