Wheel-thrown in our Bristol studio from British stoneware clay. Once thrown, the bowl is detailed with a flattened back where two different size holes can be found. This is so you have the perfect space for the type of herb you’re stripping from its stalk.
The milky white glaze is applied in an ‘overflow’ effect that is unique to each piece. We hand-make these individually, in very small batches so there will be variations from piece to piece.

All glazes on dishware, jugs and beakers is food safe. These dishes are NOT oven-proof.
Stoneware is a robust type of pottery so it is dishwasher safe, although we do recommend handwashing.

The creation of clay as a material and then the firing stage of ceramics are not inherently highly sustainable, but we take steps to ensure our pottery is as sustainable as possible.
Our pieces are made from British clay which reduces the carbon footprint during materials transportation, and we create our collection with extremely high standards in material reclaiming and waste water reuse.
