Despite their small size, these ray design mini bowls in blue by Casa Cubista make a bold statement whether displayed alone or in a group. Every hand-painted, terracotta bowl is wheel-thrown and hand-painted. Ray is one of the brand's most iconic designs, in one of its most iconic colourways.

Individually wheel-thrown and hand-decorated in Portugal. Made from local terracotta clay.
Prior to first use, all pieces should be washed by hand in hot soapy water, well rinsed and allowed to air dry. To maintain the integrity of the pieces (i.e., colour, glaze), dishwasher use is not recommended. The base of jugs, mugs and vases may initially sweat. This is normal, and will decrease over time. Please protect delicate surfaces that may be affected by watermarks. If using a vase or jug to hold flowers, please change the water daily. Some marks in the glaze are natural and expected, as is some crazing. This will not affect the use or durability of the pieces.

The creation of clay as a material and then the firing stage of ceramics are not inherently highly sustainable, but we take steps to ensure the pottery that we offer is made in a sustainably conscientious manner.
These pieces are made from local terracotta clay so there's minimal carbon footprint from material transportation, and are created by highly skilled artisans, so there is minimal waste.
